What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
My nephew [17m] thinks I'm a "pro" but I haven't got a clue. Help me prove him right, please?
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
He's a 17yo, so gaming would be 1st priority, although he's convincing his parents it's for school work. Anyway, he's on a budget, so perhaps a focus on gaming (what it might be possible on this budget), and it will surely work for classes or everything else.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
650€ is the build he sent me, I'm guessing 750€ tops.
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
Portugal, but can be ordered online from other countries if required.

Hello there. I'm a fairly new player looking for a group to play this game. Thinking of a real good character but need some advices on how to build it. I can play on weekends(Saturday and Sunday) and maybe some Mondays and Tuesday between 9 PM - 1 AM GMT. Thanks in advance

Here is a detailed recap. My thoughts are in parentheses.
The episode starts off with actowritedirector Justin Long calling in to say hi to Brendan. If you listen to past episodes, it’s known that Justin is absolutely obsessed with Brendan so Nick had to have him pop in. (It’s actually very adorable how Justin fangirls over him - he has a huge man-crush on Brendan)
Justin is on a road trip in update NY (his brother is driving) with a horrible phone connection. Justin’s brother almost gets in an accident and you hear the car horn blast. Brendan: “I just met you and then you die?” Justin: “If you’re the last person I see, Brendan, it’s not the worst thing.”
Justin tells Brendan his exit was impressive and he loved how honest and in touch he was with his communication during it. How has he been since he left?
Brendan says it’s been a few months now and he’s doing well. He reached out to Tayshia to congratulate her on her engagement. He says he feels confident with the decision he made. But even though he doesn’t regret anything, he’s still sad about it.
Justin’s phone connection begins to severely break up because he’s on the road in a remote area. (This part is actually really funny as they struggle to hear what Justin is saying 😂)
Nick asks what he thinks Justin is trying to ask which is: If you had more time with Tayshia in the real world, would you have been able to come around?
Brendan says: This is what he tells his family to this day “If I was able to remove Tayshia from the Palm Springs/La Quinta bubble and date her in the real world, I feel we could have dated and potentially had our relationship become more than that.” He only wanted to propose once after his divorce and believes that when you’re protecting yourself, it’s easy to self-sabotage what could be an amazing thing. Overall, he thinks it could have played out differently if a few things had changed about the process.
Justin Long calls back. (So hilarious how much of an effort he’s making). Nick tells Justin the answer to his question over the phone. Justin also points out that he loved how Brendan had no idea who Neil Lane was.
Brendan says he was asked who Neil lane was during the lie detector date and he said he didn’t know and the light turned green. When he saw Neil lane playing the piano on their fantasy suite date, he was thinking “I don’t know who this guys is, but I feel like I should know him, someone help me out.”
Nick apologizes for butchering his name the entire season. He always calls him Brandon instead of Brendan.
Brendan explains so many people online mess his name up or spell it wrong so Nick is not alone in that. Brendan still blames his mom who “was gonna name him something cool like Andre” and she ended up choosing Brendan. Nick says Brendan kinda looks like an Andre.
(Next, a good 6-7 minutes are spent talking about his turtlenecks and it’s awesome) Nick compliments the turtle neck he’s wearing and said he looks beautiful and wears it so well. Nick: “Were you always into turtlenecks or did you lean into it for the show?” Brendan says he’s been wearing them since he was 3 or 4 years old (credits his mom for that) and has been really into turtlenecks, particularly for the last 5-6 years. He owns dozens of them. One of his biggest regrets is not bringing even more turtlenecks to Palm Springs. It’s his thing. Nick: “It was 120 degrees! How do you not sweat in them?” Brendan says he definitely sweats but not as much as the other guys did since he runs a cooler body temp. Nick: “Is the turtleneck a conversation starter for women at bars, etc.” Brendan says guys approach him to talk about the turtlenecks more than the women will. Women may give him the head nod like “nice turtleneck” (lmao) but they aren’t always approaching him to talk about the turtleneck the way guys do. Planned to do a thickemore sweater like turtleneck with his family for Christmas.
Nick: At what point did you realize “Holy shit. An engagement is on the line”? When did you start to struggle with the engagement and was there a point in time where you thought you could do it?
Brendan said After the first few days with Clare, no connection was established whatsoever and his thoughts were “She doesn’t like me and I can’t see myself doing this.” But then Tayshia came in and she was “1000% more his type/his speed”On the first night he spoke with Tayshia, he was like “okay, this could be something.” She’s amazing, sweet, her personality goes perfectly with mine. Then after his first 1:1 date with Tayshia, he was like “Holy crap. I can actually do this.” This could be something. He left that date absolutely glowing and the last thing he expected from this experience was for it to actually work for him and to have feelings this quickly for her. He wanted to see if the feelings could then grow to a strong enough point where he could propose. Then she started going on dates with the other guys and establishing connections. Even though he knew the concept of the show, it still was strange to deal with the girl he likes talking to/dating/kissing other guys (I feel like this was especially visible with Brendan when he had to watch Ivan and Zac come back from their fantasy suite dates and read their date cards). As time went on from his 1:1, he still had doubts and was unsure but the overriding theme from the other guys and producers was that one day in the bubble is a week or a month and that you need to move fast (which was hard for him to do). He was hopeful that “tomorrow would do what it needed to do” to make him confident enough in order for him to propose. He was hoping hometowns would be the date that brought his feelings to that next level but that didn’t happen for him, unfortunately.
Nick: Sorry to hear it didn’t happen for you but do you have any regrets despite knowing this ending was in the cards for you and Tayshia? Do you just accept that reality or do you ask “what if I took that leap of faith?”. Tayshia and Zac look happy together, but let’s say we live in a world where you were the one, do you think looking back, you could have taken that leap of faith and even if it didn’t work out - have no regrets about it?
Brendan: Says he definitely asks himself “what if” all the time. His family said Tayshia possessed every quality that he would be looking for in a wife. He definitely believes there was a physical/emotional connection and does wonder if he had allowed himself to open up (again alluding to the fact that he didn’t open up enough in order to protect himself) and let their love story come to fruition, what could have happened with her. “No question about it I self-sabotaged the situation”. Brendan says he’s been divorced for three years now and it has been really hard for him since. He still has thoughts of “Will I ever get married again?” “Will I ever fall in love again?” (Basically it sounds like he has trouble trusting others with his heart since his divorce). He feels much better after watching Zac and Tayshia and it reassures him that what was meant to happen, happened. He would never want to go into an engagement with any doubts whatsoever, let alone the glaring doubts he had going into fantasy suites. He says he couldn’t live with himself if he proposed with even 1% of his doubts, knowing she could be missing out on a guy like Zac who is madly and completely in love with her (I thought that was respectful and a sweet nod to Zac’s love for Tayshia). For that, he’s grateful with how it played out.
Nick says he hopes Tayshia and Zac are happy and are one of the BN success stories. He asks though, “If a year from now, Tayshia was single and you were single - in the real world - and she reached out to you, would you entertain a date with Tayshia?”
Brendan: Absolutely 100%. He knows as a former bachelorette contestant, it’s not the best thing to say, but he realized during the process that in the environment he was very uncomfortable the majority of the time. Whereas, all the other guys were “all in” and thriving during every moment in that environment. Brendan explained “it was awkward for me, it was uncomfortable for me.” (He was def the king of awkward during some episodes, as endearing as it was). Brendan said a lot of the guys were great at adapting to this new process or great at faking that this was a normal and natural process for them. Nick then equates it to feeling like everyone was taking crazy pills and that he was the only one that was like “why am I the only one who thinks this is sorta fucked up guys?”. Brendan agrees but still doesn’t regret the overall experience and is happy he met Tayshia and the guys. But still acknowledges that due to his more reserved personality, the situation was more uncomfortable and difficult for him than for the others. He understands why it took him longer to adapt to that world than the others.
Nick, in true Nick fashion, asks Brendan to list the guys who he thought were faking it.
Brendan hesitated to give names but then listed Chasen, Ed, Noah. Nick asks what Brendan thinks about Bennett. Brendan says he was close to a majority of the guys but barely spoke to Bennett. Says Bennett is smart and successful and that he didn’t relate with Bennett, but that he’s still a good guy. That being said, Brendan says there were some elements we saw on TV about Bennett that were true. He said Bennett would get in little tiffs with some of the guys and even with some producers. Brendan said there would even be moments where he was talking (maybe not as eloquently as Bennett would like) and Bennett would be smiling and laughing (kind of mocking him in a way?). This is something Bennett would do to multiple guys in the house. He said Bennett definitely thought highly of himself which he should since he’s a 6’3” successful former football player (Brendan is seriously way to kind to him at this point), but Bennett could have sprinkled some humbleness in there. Brendan then confirms no one else besides Ed cared in the slightest about Chasen using the word “smokeshow” (hahaha) and that Ed knew what he had to do to stay on the show a bit longer.
Nick: How did he get on the show?
Producers reached out to him. Brendan said “okay this sounds cool, this sounds fun.” It was all super fast. After the interview, he had to be in Palm Springs in 10 days.
Nick asks about him being a commercial roofehis backstory. Dad came to the US from Portugal when he was 17/18. His dad met his mom. His dad then started painting houses. He and his brother painted with his dad and his uncle for 20 plus years and that transitioned into roofing. Specifically, commercial roofing for big/tall buildings. It’s hard work especially in the summer and winter. He enjoys working with his brother and uncle and cousin. Brendan also models on the side in Boston and New York and did for some time in LA. Says it’s a good balance working for his family and having fun modeling.
Nick: Has the show been therapeutic in terms of him facing his fears around taking a risk in the future? At some point you’re going to have to take a risk (I assume he means with the next woman that comes in Brendan’s life).
Brendan: The show did allow him to self-reflect every single day and discover things about himself. He definitely thinks he’s taking steps to being able to completely give his heart to someone one day. It’s still going to be scary and challenging, so he will need to take that leap of faith regardless. He the says he felt so sure the first time he proposed and had no doubts, but obviously how you feel at the beginning isn’t going to solidify the health/longevity of the relationship. He does feel more free to take this risk after the bachelorette experience. He won’t know for sure until he meets that person and is ready to get down on one knee but he is working on being the best version of himself for that next woman. Nick then gives him advice to just go for it and “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” “It’s not a reflection of you if you take another leap of faith and you don’t get that one right either.” Nick continues to say that we can only control 100% of our half. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself for finding your person.
Nick: Speaking of finding your person, how have those DMs been doing? Is it overwhelming?
Brendan: The DMs are definitely live and active right now. Don’t even know how to approach that, I’ve never been a DM kind of dude. Nick: proceed with caution. Nick: You can reply to Justin (Long) when he DMs you. (They Laugh) Brendan: (elaborating on not being a DM guy) DMs have never been his dating method. “I really need to meet a woman (in person) to establish feelings”. The whole DM then hookup method isn’t his thing. (It sounds like he’s saying he’s not big on random hookups?). He says the girls in his DMs are much too young and he’s gonna lay off the DMs for now and ignore these sorts of things that come along with doing the show.
Nick says Andrea Russett (I don’t know her but apparently she’s a popular YouTubesingesocial media star) asked him to hook her up with Brendan.
Nick starts playing matchmaker. Said that Brendan should message her and that she’s great/amazing. Brendan says he’s open to it since they said great things about her but needs to see what she looks like.
They ask what Brendan’s niece thought of him leaving.
He said his niece obviously knows his ex-wife and has met the one girl he dated after his divorce but he doesn’t bring many girls around whatsoever. He said his niece met Tayshia and had no idea what to expect after. He initially told them (his family) what happened when he got home after it ended and his family was like “okay you did what you thought was best.” But after watching the show they are now like “dude what is wrong with you? Tayshia is so amazing, etc” 😂. He hasn’t sat down with his niece to ask her if he messed up with Tayshia. His niece was so enthralled with being on tv. Brendan begins to gush about his niece and how she always wanted to be a Disney star and how she can sing.
Nick: Was the Neil Lane date as torturous as the show made it seem? Or was it a good path to put you on to explain your exit?
Brendan: Watching it back, the date did seem like a metaphor of me leaving, but the date in the moment was still enjoyable, even though it made the situation more serious for him. There were no cold sweats and he wasn’t miserable, they had fun thats day. (Further shows that the producers edited out any words he may have said during the date to make us think he was more withdrawn than he really was).
They play a game of “do you know me?” Where he has to answer questions:

1. He does carry chapstick on him.
2. Not a big wine or beer drinker. He prefers to keep it classy with gin and tequila. Not a martini drinker like Bennett.
3. Has Brendan used a condom in the last month? No he has not (Not sure if that means he just hasn’t had sex or...haha).
4. Has Brendan used a sex toy on a partner or on himself before? Brendan does not confirm or deny this. Nick takes that as a hard yes (I do too)
5. Has Brendan ever received a psychic reading before? Yes but in the form of a friend reading him tarot cards and he just went along with it. (He said three years ago he would have never done that...interesting timing for when he split with his ex-wife)
6. Can he name 5 types of flowers? No. Couldn’t do it on the spot. He got stuck after three.
7. Has he ever peed his pants. Yes, he wet the bed as a child. (If I were Nick, I def would have said and you peed yourself while you were ring shopping with Neil Lane).
8. Has he ever had sex on a first date? Nick: It doesn’t have to be a one night stand, it could just mean Brendan is a “closer”. Brendan: I haven’t gone on dates with a girl who has been intimate on the first night. So no.
9. Would he do BIP: Would consider it, but possibly not because he doesn’t believe the process will work for him to develop feelings. Nick highly encourages him to go on BIP and have fun with his friends on the beach unless he’s dating Andrea Russett. (Multiple BN alum have asked him to just do it, so I think he may end up on BIP if he’s single.)

Funny wrap up to the show - Nick reveals he’s worried that Justin Long will become better friends with Brendan after introducing them and that will make him butt hurt because he’s been trying to be besties with Justin for a while now.
Brendan: “I had a connection with Justin as soon as we made eye contact”
Nick: “I know, that’s what I’m afraid of.”

Atm i am driving my headphones through my Blue Yeti, for now it is louder than just using the 3.5 jack. But i want to upgrade my experience with a DAC+AMP combo.

Source/Amp - Need advice on this one :) I was looking into Schiit but the EU site is down and i cannot buy from out of EU else i will pay double the price in taxes...
How the gear will be used - I mainly game competitive style games like valorant and some immersion ones like Black Desert Online. The best quality music i listen is Spotify prem. honestly.
But i do like to listen to a LOT of music while i game and while i not game to relax.

The DT 990 Pro are really good imo, i am loving them. I had cheaper gaming headphones, i have a pair of airpods 2 and a couple other extras but this pair of cans blow my head...

This story is about commitmment and hardwork, and a lot of joy in playing Fifa.
2020 brought COVID19 to our lifes. In order to cope with it, back in March, a group of 4-5 guys (25+, some married with kids, some single, all working) decided to try out this game mode in Fifa 20. To be fully honest, we were unaware of the rollout of the game and we were trying to understand the behaviour of the non-human players which was mindblowing at some extent. Regardless, in Fifa 20, we managed to get up to Division 3 only. Back in the season end, June, the team had already 7+ PT players. We were quite frustated that we couldn't reach Division 1 and we have been dreaming about it ever since. Typically, we would play 2-3 days of the week in late evening, having a brawl all together online, playing Fifa and discussing COVID and other society related stuff.
Fast forward to September 2021: Fifa 21 comes in and our mind was set. We have to do it. We simply have to do it. We started quite fast to be honest, climbing from Division 10 to Division 8 and then consistently up to Division 3. We spent a little time in Division 3 and after a tactic swap (from 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-1-1) magic occured and we climbed up to Division 2.
The struggle was real. We were playing consistently, sometimes achieving 17 points, 16 points... and in Christmas day we even got back to Division 3. We were dissappointed. Nonetheless, we climbed back to Division 2 in a blink of an eye and last night... OUR FCKING DREAM CAME TRUE!

I guess words can't describe this feeling. Audios on the other hand, can. And we started streaming at half-time of the promotion game (Serra20F on Twitch channel).
Celebrations start at 00:07:00. We got promoted in the 9/10 game of the 35 season with a 4-0 win. In the remaining stream, you can also see the last game (we were winning 3-0 at 15minutes and end up losing 4-3) and also our first 4 games in Division 1: 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat.
So there you have it guys. I simply had to share this with the Community.

Hello everyone . I moved from Portugal to Germany to live with my German boyfriend ( Fiance now ) . i registered on December and i just registered with the Arbeit Agentur online , and job seeking . I am currently 3 months pregnant from our first bundle of joy , but i have some questions ...
1- In Portugal i always did voluntary work , not payed , helping the local gaming store for the kids , creating events , helping retail etc .
2- Since i moved here i didn't found any job or mini job , would i still have any right to have support from them / unemployed benefits ? especially now that i am pregnant ....
is just so confusing and i have a hard time understanding ...
